Learning to simply cope with your pain isn’t good enough.
Find long-term relief by treating the root cause of your distress with in-depth mental health specialists at The Mind People.
Struggling with untreated mental health issues leaves you suffering with pain that can seriously disrupt your sleep, your relationships, and your sense of self and physical well-being.
Your distress may be rooted in a dysregulated nervous system — one that keeps you stuck in cycles of overwhelm, anxiety, and emotional reactivity, regardless of how hard you’ve tried to move past it.
That’s where we come in.
🔸 Silvana’s focus is on working with individuals, children (6+), and couples navigating anxiety, trauma, emotional dysregulation, and relationship challenges.
Silvana is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and MACP candidate at Yorkville University, bringing six years of academic training in psychology alongside hands-on clinical experience to her work. She holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from York University, and is currently completing her Master’s degree while supporting patients across a wide range of emotional and psychological concerns.
Her foundation is integrative and personalized. Silvana draws from several trauma-informed methods, selecting the approach that best fits each patient’s unique needs rather than applying a one-size-fits-all framework. Her work centres on helping people build self-awareness, understand their internal experiences, and develop emotional regulation skills that create lasting psychological flexibility.
Beyond her clinical training, Silvana has been involved in conversations around youth empowerment through podcast participation, shares accessible mental health content on Instagram, and facilitates a self-help book club — all reflecting a genuine commitment to making psychological concepts meaningful in everyday life.
When you work with Silvana, the goal isn’t just to manage symptoms. It’s to help you feel more grounded, empowered, and capable of navigating life with greater ease and intention.
Let’s get you unstuck and moving forward.
